SHS Science Olympiad Team qualifies for state
The SHS Science Olympiad Team received notification Friday, Feb. 13, that the team has qualified for the state competition on March 21. 
SHS Senior places at Indiana wrestling regional
SHS Senior Zack Adams placed second at the Indiana High School Athletic Association wrestling regional at Jeffersonville. He will advance to the semistate at Evansville on Feb. 14. 
Way to go Warriors!
The Warrior Swim Team and the Wrestling Warriors won MSC titles. 
AP Physics class uses new 3D printer at SHS
Scottsburg High School AP Physics students use the school's new MakerBot Replicator 2X Experimental 3D Printer. By using the three-dimensional printer, the students will be able to experiment hands-on with moments of inertia.

Coach Rabe To Be Inducted Into IN Baseball Hall of Fame
The Indiana Baseball Hall of Fame recognizes the accomplishments of Hoosiers who have made contributions to our national game. It is with great pride that Scottsburg High School’s very own
Athletic Director Al Rabe will be inducted on Friday, January 23, 2015 in a ceremony in Indianapolis.
FFA Goes On To State Competition!
FFA members Journey Kendall, Kevin Brown, Cory Lagle (Team #2) and Charlie Robinson, Kevin Hardin, Kyle Richey, and Dakota Binkley (Team #1) competed in the Area 2 entomology contest on Thursday, November 6. Team #2, placed first in the competition and Team #1
placed sixth.
Cheer Team And Band Of Warriors Place At State
On Saturday, Nov. 8, 2014 the SHS Cheer Team seized 4th place at Southport High School at the Indiana State Cheer Competition. 
State Accountability Grade Released
SHS received its grade from the Indiana Department of Education! 
Booster and Totem Are Award Winners!
Students from Scottsburg High School’s newspaper and yearbook staffs were recognized by the Indiana High School Student Press Association for exemplary work at the annual convention on Oct. 17. Both The Booster and Totem were named Hoosier Stars which is the top journalism award in the state.
Boys Tennis Wins Sectional
Friday, October 3rd the Warrior tennis team played the host Seymour Owls in the finals of the tennis sectional. SHS dominated the Owls winning all five matches.
Warrior Soccer and Tennis Win the MSC!
September 29, 2014 saw SHS win the conference titles in both Soccer and Tennis! 
SHS Girls Golf Team Makes History!
The SHS girls golf team placed third at the Madison Sectional held at Sunrise Golf Course this past Saturday allowing them the opportunity to advance to the IHSAA Girls Golf Regional. The team scored 428 with individual scores of Madeline Parker 94, Karli Hall 109, Abby Blevins 112, Danielle Sanders 113, and Matti Staser 126. This is the first girls golf team in school history to advance to the regional. In years past individuals have qualified, but never the entire team. The girls will be playing at Roncalli Smock Golf Course located in Indianapolis this Saturday. Tee off starts at 8 AM.

High Schools That Work is an innovative, technology rich model that is based on the 10 Key Practices of the Southern Regional Education Board.  These best practices encourage and inspire students by combining individualized and group work settings. 

New Tech High School is an innovative, technology rich model that utilizes a team based approach in educating its students.  It is a Project-Based Learning model that teaches the state standards by utilizing real world projects.

SHS Students, regardless of the course of study that they choose, may participate in athletics, band, choir and clubs!

SHS Students have the opportunity to earn more than 25 college credits from SHS Partner institutions such as Ivy Tech Community College, Purdue University and Vincennes University.

All SHS students have begun the move to a 21st Century Learning environment that features teacher-developed curriculum, cloud-based instruction and the beginnings of a virtual school.
