Lexington Elementary School

Lexington Elementary is an Apple Distinguished School for 2022–2025, recognized for its innovation, leadership, and educational excellence. Our students use Apple technology to bring reports to life, research the world with visual and audio enhancements, and support all areas of the curriculum.

A school has been on this site since 1886, and the proud Lexington community embraces its Patriotic heritage. Lexington was the recipient of a National Blue Ribbon Award for academic excellence in 2016 — a recognition that came on the heels of the introduction of Apple technology in our classrooms, connecting our rural school to the world.

We are a school both steeped in history with an eye on the future. We are proud of who we are and where we have been, and we are excited about the future of this strong community.
